Here is a link to a few photos of my stuff. Just portable and phones, the main rig is in storage while I am living in Vladivostok.

The pictures are pretty big, beware. I took them with my new s30, and did not realize that the resolution was all the way up. They are around a meg or so each. Enjoy.

wow, quick replies. Yes, it is a pug. The traveler's bag is the headroom traveler's bag. It is very very sweet. Has all sorts of headphone specific tweaks -- cable channels etc. A little expensive though.

Awesome! Nevermind the price, that'd be just as important as having a good source...
I'm gonna order one as soon as more cash rolls in.

They look real heavy and cumbersom, too.

The cables offer excellent sound. I have had the 580s for 3 years, and they sounded better immediately...even before burn in...though I have yet to actually notice the burn in effect (I think it is the customer that is burning in....if you listen to something for 100 hours, you are going to get MUCH more used to the sound, thus much more likely to enjoy it and keep the product. A brilliant marketing ploy by the audiophile business -- I am not saying there is no real burn in, but I am a little skeptical that it is always macroscopically evident.). Yes, the clou cables are extremely bulky and unwieldy. If you are contemplating doing anything other than sitting, forget it. They are stiff as a board too....I cannot imagine what red would be like, as they are supposedly stiffer!

There really isn't much difference after break-in period on cables. It's like brand new baseball gloves, they're stiff, and you need to rub them in real well to get that smooth touch. Same goes to audio cables, run some juice through them to get all the wires going in one smooth pipeline = more stable sound. I think the reason cables sound bright initially is because the molecules in the wires haven't been properly aligned yet, so they give an exaderrated sound until a line of current (discrete path) for signal transfer has been set...

Thanks for the comments guys. If I ever get my hands on anything else interesting, I will post some more photos. Yes, the dog does have a pretty good life: he eats, he sleeps, he attacks socks and slippers...he has the run of the house.
