As good as the PS500's could be, they won't be as good as RS-1's which a lot of people already have, so I don't understand the hubbub with them...

Why would the PS500 not be as good as the RS1?  We don't know yet.

Headroom's 'Headphone Samurai: Ben' had a pair of the PS500's in his short video from Can Jam

They were still burning in but he does report that they don't seem to be too bright and the sound

is quite balanced across the spectrum.

He mentions them at the end of the clip after mainly discussing the new LCD-3 - 51 sec mark
