Hi guys,

Need a bit of advice. Has anyone here taken apart the cables of a pair of IE8s before? The reason for which I am asking is because I would like to re-terminate the 1/8" mini plug of the stock cable with a SR71B styled balanced plug and was wondering if there were 2 or 3 or 4 cables inside the stock cables? And if it was possible at all?

If any one has done it before, advice on the wiring scheme and/or pictures would be highly appreciated.
