New to portable amps

Hey Head-fi'ers

 

I'm looking to get a portable for my Beyerdynamic DT 1350. I listen to primarily rock, metal and ska, with the occassional pop, hip hop and rap. 

 

Don't want to break the bank, but I don't know the average cost either, help would be appreciated.

Well, the cost of a portable amp can go from $60.00 to $800.00.  Name you range so others can help you.

Knowing the source also helps as some sources have EQ while others don't.
