Tangent CMoy and Headphone Impedance

I'm still new to the DIY amps, but I wanted to check what headphone impedance is safe to use with this amp. Will it be safe to use a 42 ohm headphone with them?

I'm not sure what information you need to know about my amp (which is still a work in progress) so if you need to know what resistors, capacitors, or op-amp I'm using I'd be happy to tell you. I'm using an Alps 10 kΩ RK097 POT if you're wondering.

Thanks in advanced for any help or suggestions you can provide!

Yes, 42 ohms will be fine.

Great, thanks a lot Armaegis! smile.gif

EDIT: Does anyone know where I can get a cheap, short male-male cable? I wanted to get one: 1. to test my CMoy circuit to make sure it works properly, 2. if I end up getting another PMP with a line-out jack, I could use it + my CMoy.

Monoprice or eBay.  Or free with a Fiio E5 LOL.
