WESTONE UM3X NEW REMOVABLE CABLE VERSION (RC)
Absolutely new, MINT CONDITION (10/10), with the original box and all the acessories as they came from the store. No more than 30 hours listening on them.
Buying from me or getting them new from Westone is exactly the same thing with the difference that you save aprox. 100 EUR.
JUST 199 EUR. FREE shipping (EU only). Cheaper than the Sennheiser IE80's, which are WAY inferior.
UM3X vs SM3: I think the SM3 are leaner and vocals are a bit recessed when you compare them to a monitor like the um3x. The um3x have better bass, it hits harder (bass lines are more clear, stronger and detailed), have more power, more body, more energy, are warmer, lively and vocals are WAY better (lush, life-like and vivid). Instrument separation is superior too (the UM3X have the best separation of all the universal IEMs period). They give me a more enjoyable/involving listening experience.
Of course that it all depends of the kind of music you listen to. For Jazz I think the SM3 are almost perfect, but for Pop/Rock, Metal, Electronic, etc, the um3X are superior in pretty much every aspect. They are very musical and more adequate for enjoying music rather than monitoring, while the SM3 are better suited for monitoring. This is just my opinion, of course. Your mileage may vary (but seems that a vast majority of members in this forum do share my opinion).
UM3X vs Westone 4: I think the consensus is clear about their superiority to the Westone 4's (bass quantity and quality, vocals and instrument separation). This is the PRO line from Westone, not the consumer one where the W4's belong to. Despite the fact that the UM3X were built for professional monitoring, they give you a lot more fun. Take a real monitor speaker like the Samson Rubicon R8a or any $500 Mackie, and you got the UM3X. They sound that good.
Better than this just $1000 custom-made IEMs and not all (see reviews - they are better than the $1150 UE11 PRO)
