This is a review of a pair of free IEM's I recieved from DUNU as part of a give away contest they recently held here on Head-fi. When I recieved my package the first thing I notices was...

Best closed headphones I had heard - very flat response, almost no midrange distortion, very easy to drive (good for portable), good soundstage (definately better than K240), good isolation, but...

Overall excellent buds, very good sound quality, especially for their price, the medium set of tips fits exactly in my ears and provides a near perfect seal. Bass is very detailed, but not...

I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

Alibaba is a legit site, just like Ebay is.
Which is to say, whatever the site does it does just as well as it's expected to; beyond that it's between you and the vendor that's listing on Alibaba (or Ebay).
The listers on Alibaba are manufacturing companies who build to order. So all they're really advertising is their capability to knock off the T1, HD800, and so on. They don't have any in inventory and they probably won't even have any samples available unless you front the money for the first prototypes (which will cost considerably more than $80, unless you're already financially committed to a large order and they're willing to eat the cost to satisfy a major customer).
On the other hand, since they're a build-to-order firm, if you can commit to the minimum order you can get them any way you want; say, if you want half the lot purple and half pink, with ponies or bears or kittens printed on the ear cups, they can do that thing and, per unit, it's unlikely to cost much.
Incidentally, FOB usually means the cost includes freight to the nearest shipping port. It's up to you to get the container -- or pallets of product -- out of Seattle or Los Angeles and to your warehouse, and from the warehouse to wherever you want the stuff to go. The final price per unit from their factory to your hands will be considerably more than $40-80.

"$10 HD800" Vs. "This company can produce good fakes if enough money is supplied."
