The Audeze LCD-2 Ortho thread (New) - Page 413

Jamppa's graph is so different from any LCD2 I've ever seen.

So I'm thinking about purchasing LCD-3. What amplifier should I go with. My #1 choice would be an amplifier with integrated DAC, but I am open to other options. I would like to purchase a used one and my budget limit is $1000-1200. I'm currently using my PC with usb-connection to my V200.

Thanks in advance! :)

That's why I wanted to post it.

Initially I thought that maybe I just had received a bad pair or something.

They sound amazing so I don't really care anymore :k701smile:

The current version of the Icon Audio HP8 Mk II (CV 181) sounds really great.  Very impactful bass, excellent tube midrange and very low treble grain.

can I please ask people with the earlier flat bass response down to so called 20Hz please let me know if you can hear or feel anything at 20-29Hz or even 10-19Hz? mine does not play any sound below 30Hz.

Your graph looks a lot like mine. I guess this proves that new lcd-2's from 2014 are different.

I can't hear anything below 30hz either but could just be my hearing.

It's not your hearing. I can feel it on my sub right down to 10hz

Can someone fix my link? Head fi I'd allergic to my mobile browser

I would like to know if the earlier flat cans can produce sound below 30hz. If they can I will be steaming

Mine were from late 2012 and the graph was very flat out to 20 hz but I never listened to any test tones so couldn't say what kind of sound was produced.
