Tell your wallet to zip it...you'll love the 2s and won't regret the decision at all.

Truer words were never spoken. All the Audeze phones lead to an increase in musical enjoyment .

I had been a huge Grado and Beyer guy since I started with this side of audio a few years ago...but Audeze has just blown everything up and taken over. First the 2s, now the Xs...I'm quite smitten :)

Buy a LCD3 and X while you're at it.

NOOOOOO please spare meeee

the XC's do look really tempting though, as i still don't have a high end closed phone.

also, i'm being super OCD on the tracking info. though i'm sure i'm not the only one :p

edit: from fedex site: Severe winter weather is causing delays and disruptions in the Midwest and Northeast U.S.

Anyone here had any experience with making/using a balanced cable and setup with their LCD2?

If so, any difference/reason to do it? I made a cable for my LCD2.2 the other day, and only just realised that my new DAC/amp also allows a balanced setup.. Worth it?

To my ears balanced makes a small bit of a difference for the better. I also use the Gungnir/Mjolnir stack so .....

No, your dac/amp does not have balanced output for headphones...it has balanced output as a DAC to go into an amp.  The plugs at the back won't drive your headphone.

My mistake - I didn't take much notice of the XLR ports on the back until I thought about it. They are adjusted by the volume knob AFAIK, so I just assumed.
