 Audeze Black Friday Event

Share the gift of Audeze sound! We’re reducing the price by 20% on the LCD-2 during our Black Friday event running now through Monday, December 2nd.

Well, it looks like I'm going to ask for a price match for the ones I just bought. Thanks for the heads up!

Good luck--it seems like they should do it for anyone that bought this past week. . I've never seen Audeze have any sale.

My chances are pretty high. I bought mine from Music Direct, who has a 30 day return policy. If they don't price match (which they usually do), I'll just return them and buy a different pair from Audeze. Then Music Direct will sell my pair as an "open box/demo" pair for $800 anyway. I bought mine for $900, so it isn't a massive difference, but if everything goes smoothly I'll have enough to buy that Mini-X I was looking at before the Emotiva Thanksgiving sale ends.

I'm really surprised Audeze is having a sale, especially one with such a huge discount.

I just found out about the LCD-2 sale as well, and I do have stock on both bamboo and rosewood -- but not as many as I would have had had i known about this earlier. So, while supplies last!

Wow... That's never been done before. LOL. Black Friday 2013 is starting off pretty epic.

I have had my eyes on the LCD2.2 for a while, and here's my chance. Just placed my order with Justin :D

I'm Jealous... wow... crazy price for them. I guess good things come to those who wait. LOL.

But on the plus side we'll have more members on these threads with their new LCD-2s.

oh yeah, good price!

Just got a lightly used Bamboo version, off the forum , graph dated 4/26/12, assume version .2, hard to keep up

third time might be my charm. Weight no longer an issues, for me and been using it to watch movies

 is all I can say , not really honeymoon phase , just a fun phone

this time of the year can be pocket killer if one gets carried away and does not use caution.

There are no Bamboo versions which aren't 2.2's.

Sorry to quote an older post but I've been away from Head-Fi for a while so catching up on this thread. Just wanted to say that I also have an early Rev 2 that is still sounding wonderful (2 years in December). I think the straight wooden connectors look much better than the current metal ones even though the metal is obviously more practical.

Yeah, I just called the place I got them from and the dealer was a bit upset, but did price match (I purchased on the Monday before thanksgiving).  Apparently, the savings don't go to the dealers if you buy from them and they lose some money, but have to price match.

Hey guys,

Should I get rosewood instead of bamboo? What have a more attractive look and durable for years to come?

Besides, between vegan and leather, which one has better bass and mid?

Thanks.

Personally think the rosewood looks nicer. I believe one of the reasons they introduced the bamboo though was to be more durable than the rosewood.

Don't know about sound differences between vegan/leather.

I read that in the beginning, rosewood LCD2 were often to have cracks. However, they have fixed it recently. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks.
