I used to polish my cups everyday, paying particular attention to the nipples.

i got myself the older r2 rev with the all rosewood frame, with the red and black xlrs on the cable, don't like the look of the angled connectors...

are the black angled connectors metal or plastic?

Alright time to stir the hornets nest up again.  Been comparing my new Soloist to the 160D, there is definitely a difference in sound between these 2 amps.

Mainly I feel like I'm getting some more detail and articulation in the mid range with the Soloist....no I wont put a % on it:)   It's very apparent with the T1 but also noticeable with the LCD2.  The LCD's sound a bit more open.

Lets not drag prices and justifications into this, just reporting my findings.

Todd had these on sale today so I bought mine just a few minutes ago.  So much for holding out for Audez'e's new closed can.  Can't wait to pair these up with my newly received WA7.

I just received mine... Playing w/ standard cables though an E17 (Yeah I know, I'm handling it. Thinking LYR GE standard tubes) from 8000+ bitrate FLAC and its, for lack of words, beautiful. I mean really just perfect. When I have my LYR I will report back.

Anyone here with LCD2 in the Brussels, Flanders area? Would be interested in a mini meet. The LCD works so well with my glacier amp.

Would be fun to check it out again. I have er4s for your interest. dan
