I just received a pair of refurbished 800s from Crutchfield and my serial number is in the 16000s.

That's because they're not bass lite. smile.gif

The HD800 produce the overtones of the bass notesof  piano in Michael Kaeshammer's track Swanee River better than any of my other phones.

It is just like I was standing behind him when he was playing.
