Fiio E7 dead????

Hi to all

 

I want your knowledge for a mistake i made.I connected the L7 with the E7 but with the wrong side and connected the usb.

 

Since then when i connect it , only the red light of charging is on, the pc doesnot recognise the device , neither the E7 turns on.

 

Has anybody any idea?????

 

Shall i through it for recycling?

It was connected with the wrong side? I have the E7 and L7, and I can't figure out what you mean. I can only fit the L7 into the E7 in one way. I suppose if you put it in backward, you might break the port, but you'd really have to jam it in there.

 

I also find it interesting that you get the red charging light but it won't turn on. The E7 has an internal battery, so that probably mean that it really isn't charging. Beats me.

Try the little reset button between the headphone jacks.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday.
Freaked out cause it wasn't working at all.
I pressed the reset and plugged it in for a little bit and turned it on.

Returned my E7 to Amazon for a full refund.
