What music is truly euphoric

Ok,what albums do you find 'euphoric' in your subjective view. I'm not talking about just great albums, but truly great albums that are akin to,the short happiness feel, you get when you've worked up a sweat on the dancefloor with that great girl or guy you just met, when you've just played football with friends or family and hurt all over but feel great, just came from a great party or concert with friends and still revved up for more, getting that huge business contract or talking deeply with your loved one for hours.
I realise that new music as opposed to old music, that you yourself attach positive meaning from life events, like songs you're loved one likes, in that a New just bought album, can't truly make you euphoric, so this is a purely subjective question whose answer, may be the same as what I may find 'euphoric' in my perception.
(you can ignore this part I'm just rambling) As being truly euphoric, lasts from a few hours to days, leads to feel good repetitive thoughts or actions that may lead to sleeplessness, massive elation, talkativeness and obliviousness to things happening around you and timeloss and possible risk taking behavior, when euphoric thea is, excess indulgence in creative pursuits such as song writing, painting, writing without rest your novel/ hypergraphia or finally solving a series of very difficult math problems, reading that huge book at one go, philosophical or divine revalation from inquiry, after having t hat great date or getting that girl or guy and you just can't sleep from being so excited, or eating 40 bananas in 1 day, giving a fruit dopamine release:-)
Euphoria is short excessive happiness no matter the circumstance, that you don't know where the hell it came from, while happiness is a state of mind bt nt excessive that turns to be a lifestyle over years or months.
Things that don't equate to euphoria is,I doubt alcohol presents this, as its a depressive drug and numbs you're brain down, though this is a subjective opinion, while illegal drugs just release too much dopamine, just giving a mixed state i.e negative emotion mixed with euphoria for too short of a time, like a minute or few seconds (I don't advocate taking illegal stimulant drugs,I've nvr used any, it kills, plus you feel severe dysphoria after the hit dies down, I welcome the mods to edit the post,if my reference against drugs though cautionary, doesn't follow the rules of the forum).
(now I'm back) I hope I get some helpful, responses as I have few 'euphoric' albums, I need more, in you're subjective opinion.

For me it's this:

Stay Alive is probably the most euphoric one of theirs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-q9Lfy_UcA

They don't get called "euphoric" hardstyle masters for nothing. What genre are you into or doesn't it really matter? "Euphoric" can really be such a diversity of genres from classical to hardstyle. :P

Always cheers me up and it's among the most beautiful music I have ever heard, especially Durante's Magnificat. Simply sublime.

Can we just post single tracks, I find it much harder to find an album as a whole to be euphoric, it's usually a few songs that stand out more or less. Here's something totally different than I posted previously and it's only a short/beginning part of it but the video was so nice so had to pick it. :)

EDIT: A bit longer, still nicely edited video...

Any genre or individual songs only is cool, I actually just got both Paula Deanda and Natalie albums, they're songs are mushy yes bt they have a amazing quality, they're like angelic beings singing ,maybe I just like Latin singers. They have a quality, where when they sing they almost put you in their place thru their singing...it's nicely feel good feeling.
I also can't go a week without, listening to smooth jazz, otherwise if don't I feel somewhat off,it charges my energetic personality for 7 days. Yes I love music. like angelic beings singing ,maybe I just like Latin singers. So you like the sound of "angelic" singing/voice? Try

Ofc needs better quality though but Sharon's warmth in the voice sends shivers down my spine. :)

Not specifically as in an album but in general, subjectively that which moves us emotionally to "feel" musics and lyrics meaning , personally .

Blowing my own horn here; With age and lives experiences over our years, some music holds greater value due to perhaps it being a sign post of personal memories as well as meaningfulness with which we personally identify, which with age compiles as our own personal experiences increase .

Yeah music is good, however the great stuff moves us emotionally, personally and with meaning .

Choose well that which will be the sign post of your own life , though there are no wrong answers to the question or, "It's All Good" , potentially (SQ aside) -

Mozart Piano Concertos make me very happy. But they're like ice cream. At some point you have to stop.

I'm down with this.

I find that post-rock as a genre is mostly euphoric due to the long atmospheric build-ups that climax into powerful crescendos, the soft-loud-soft musical structure... just really beautiful and emotional.

The first track that comes to mind is the first half of "First Breath After Coma" by Explosions in the Sky, which is odd, because I really don't care for the ambient droning second half of the song but the first half is aboslutely some of my favorite minutes of music ever.

For non-post rock type music, Arcade Fire's "Wake Up" is also one of my favorites and very euphoric for me as well.

I'm a sucker for a breakbeat and a ragga vocal, so ragga jungle always gives me that rush.

Krinjah - Worker Man

I'm not really a fan of electro, but when I heard this one it floored me

AC Slater -Party Like We Do (Udachi Remix)

For the rock fans

Queens Of The Stone Age - Go With The Flow

For the dubstep fans, one of my favorites

Tes La Rok - Santa Claus Is Lost

On for the drum n bass lovers. Although this is one of my favorite tracks, period.

LTJ Bukem - Rhodes To Freedom

Shoegaze or ambient types of Black Metal like Agalloch.

Quite a fair share of Peter Gabriel's music. "Up" (2002) in 24bit is oft-relied upon for my testing.

Shivers.

Also, a ton of Röyksopp's music.

Jesus. If you can watch that video in 720p fullscreen (especially 1:52 onward) and not feel awed... you should get your nervous system checked.

This one might be a strange example of "euphoric", but in a very quiet way, I'd say it is.

To keep with the quiet euphoria theme, the amazing genius of Keith Kenniff, AKA Helios + Goldmund + half of Mint Julep. If you don't have his album Eingya, it comes highly recommended (this song is one of its tracks).

And now for something completely different.

I guess that will do for now. The special thing about these tracks is that each of them occupied my consciousness for days; I almost transformed as a result of being hijacked by their identities.

To me, euphoria is a thing called the Family Stone…

I also don't want to blow my own horn but , I believe that euphoric songs are 'meaningfulness to which we personally identify' also and also society and the media try to shape what is euphoric, songs like Adele's ' Someone Like You', is extremely beautiful, and if you feel like your on cloud nine after listening to the song or album and extremely blissful then it's euphoric to you. I also think positive songs are euphoric and it's universal to everybody, so even if you find a song euphoric, I may find it's not because it doesn't elicit positivity in me, so you can say that positive songs are euphoric universally, though I do find Smooth Jazz positive another may disagree. Some genres are euphoric universally  like religious music, though a great gospel or buddist chant album can only be euphoric to you.

Sound quality doesn't matter, emotion moves you wherever you are.

Also sucky mainstream songs, that are pushed by media and considered euphoric by the public, if you don't share the same feelings as the crowd for the hyped up song, then it won't be euphoric no matter how much you try liking it. But people still listen to the same pop genre (mostly pop mainstream) and eventually become bored of music. I think realising this, will make people listen to many more genres, dust off that ipod that has stayed in your drawer for weeks  and realise that  mainstream popularised music  is not the only good music. And yes, Beyonce's album '4', still sucks, people aren't stupid good music is good music and that's why the album has 2 stars on Amazonbiggrin.gif, those reviews are really reliable. Chrissette Michele's 'Epiphany' album, is a good album, therefore has a good chance of being euphoric to the listener.
Therefore euphoric songs are 'meaningfulness to which we personally identify', also 'a signpost of personal memories', songs that you compose yourself that rev you up (that may be the next big thing) and songs that are considered meaningful by your loved ones.
