I use my SPL Auditor and HD650 with TV, the amp is connected via TV sets audio output RCA -s . I have to choose headphones from my TV remote though, otherwise it uses its own speakers for audio playback.

He doesn't have RCA output from the TV. The only output is the headphone jack. It's why he should amplify the outputs from his boxes IMO.
