Can someone help me out(Car audio setup)?

Ok, so I have an early 2000's Buick Regal.

That's more or less what the dashboard looks like.
What I want to do:
Replace the standard CD/Cassette AM/FM radio with a DVD(if possible)/CD+Aux+SD Receiver.
A few that are reasonably affordable on amazon that I ran into are here:

How would I go about removing what I currently have? Would they work fine with the stock speakers? Would it...fit?

Thanks in advance!

Car audio seems off-topic for these forums but what the heck. Removing the stock system is probably difficult. Best the get someone else to do it... who has practiced on some other person's car.

I have a 2006 Honda Civic. I never paid attention before to a car sound system but this Civic was awful. The speakers were all plastic except for the magnets. I replaced them with pioneer 3-way. I also installed a powered subwoofer in the back seat. Now I have great sound with the original deck still in place. The CD player is very basic but does the job.

Is there an iPod adapter for your car. If so, it might good enough to avoid all these modifications

I could get a cassette adapter, but I'd rather go with someone that can also maybe accept SD and DVD's...just open up my options more.

If you have a stereo deck that you want. You can simply buy it and take it and your car to most car audio places and they will install it for you.

I did this on my previous car and they charged me 50 bucks. Also if it helps, if you buy off places like Crutchfield, they usually offer a wire harness specifically for your make/model if its available.

Youtube has a lot of DIY videos:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S7IqyQayAQ&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PLD7F0EDE344908B0E

I looked here before upgrading my own car audio setup recently & decided to let the car audio people do it.

Stock speakers will work fine, but, in general, their sound quality is very, very poor.  And your new deck will only sound as good as the speakers will let them, even though the new deck will probably improve the sound slightly, since it'll be pumping more power than the old deck. It doesn't cost much to get a pair of speakers to go a league or two up, might be worth considering down the road.
