Selling a Headphonia USB DAC Cable I bought recently. I bought this to carry along with me, but I've decided I'd like to keep my carry-a-longs as light as possible so I won't be using this. It only has a couple hours of use on it and is in brand new condition.

Is it necessary to use an amp with this cable? I am looking for a solution to unwanted hiss from my laptops audio jack.

 

edit: Did some reading and it seems these can be used directly to headphones (with a female to female adapter). If that is the case then I would like to buy these :)

Actually, this is a USB DAC (I know 'coz I have one). You would need an amplifier to use it.
