Up for sale is a pristine pair of Sony SA 5000, with custom professionally installed Double Helix cable. Cable is thick, nylon covered and wonderfully flexible and limp. These headphones were bought from Shahrose here on Head-fi. He cared for them meticulously, and they looked like new when I got them from him and still look the same. Leather pads are perfect and supple, real leather, and clearly well cared for. The sound of these is supposedly much better due to the aftermarket cable, I've never owned stock SA5K, but I can say these sound amazing! Very detailed, very nice controlled base (apparently the base is the biggest improvement with the new cable), and super comfortable. A poor mans HD800 some might say. Smoke and pet free home. No box or accessories, what you see is what you get, will be well packed, for safe delivery, and pick up is welcome if you are in the GTA area (actually 35mins west of GTA).
