Ok , basically Pro 650's, must have been using up the remainder of the stock from when they discontinued them.

500 made only and only available in Germany.

The best part is the cost , £130 delivered to UK, thats around £50 cheaper than the normal 650 (if you can find them).

I have the Proline 650s as well and these seem to be much better built, rubberised cups and headband , they also come with a 0.8 meter ipod cable as well as the normal 3 meter one, other than that they contain the same accessories.

Much prefer the look over the blue Prolines (they seem a bit toyish now) , the photos wash out the orange a bit, they dont look pink in the flesh!

They definately sound different to my 1000 hr Proline 650's , mushier bass and hotter treble, guess there is some truth in burn in, leaving them for a few days on repeat, then i will try again.

Hopefully we can rely on your impressions..wink.gif

Pro 650's are great home cans, they are less analytical than the 750s, in fact the 6 series of ultrasones , 680, hfi!-650 and pro 650 are IMO much better for listening to music than the 5 or 7 series.

NICE! Where did you pick them up from?

Better go add it to your profile.

Those look awesome

Is the cable black? These would look great with an orange cable, Pro650 Halloween Edition

Nice find. I thought your SO put the kibosh on any further headphones after the MDR-ZX700.

WOW, 14hrs of burn in has done wonders for these, they have the same amazing depth and airyness i love about my other 650's (which will be for sale - PM if interested).

Its a real shame they discontinued these as they and the 2200ule have a consumer sound rather than the studio sound of most other Ultrasones.

Sounds like a good buy!

I just emailed them see what they say to ship to Canada. I did see the regular Pro650's there for 76 Euros MORE(?) < The slightly older PROline BLUE Version it is, not the later Grey ( at least that's what someone else mentioned ).  Is there any main difference besides the colour and limited version that you can tell? Specs seem the same .  I sure like the look of those. It may make a nice contrast to the 2500's I'll have to read some reviews.

I imagine the break-in will bring them up to what your other ones sound like.
