It's a $1.00 difference.

If you really wanted the MS1, buy it direct from Alessandro for cheaper.

Anyway, I agree MS1>SR80

My friend in college had the SR80s while I had MS1s. Honestly I would be equally happy with either although my personal vote goes to the MS1s since it gives you the option of going for the MS1000s.

I bought a Jaben MS1000 kit and use it for my SR80. you can pretty much do it to all SR series

I always figured you could only do it with the MS1s or Pros to get a good result. At least that's what the actual forum thread here seems to indicate. Then again, never personally attempted this myself with anything aside from the MS1s.

I am also shocked how i wasn't taxed or paid any duty fees. But good for me.

Where did you buy the MS1i's from? I've been interested in Grado headphones for a long time and since I live in Canada, I'd love to try out the MS1i cans for myself for only 100 bux.

5. Klipsch S4

6. Sennheiser PX100

Completely off-topic:

Glad to see the 4AAA on the list.

Might I suggest some mods? By changing a few things, I was able to fix most of my gripes about the 4AAA and make them sound even better.

Edit: Eh crap, old topic. Oh well.

What are the genres that the sr80i suited the most??

Do you consider both the headphones with the same built quality? And what is the overal build quality in terms of long period of usage?

The money issue aside, I personally think the MS1i are much better than the SR80i. I sat down and gave it a 1.5 hour comparison at the shop. MS1i is significantly better.
