Anybody have a DACport with the 1ohm mod?

 

I would like some feedback on this mod.

What kind of feedback? It reduces the output impedance confused.gif

 

Good for headphones under 80 ohms, not much use otherwise.

What about if I use the DACport as a DAC only for my home amp, will it affect the performance of this configuration?

 

I want to bring the DACport to work during the day, and use it occasionally for my home amp as well.

No, it only affects the headphone amp. So only get it if you use the DACport to drive low impedance headphones.
