I am putting up for sale one of the most superlative CD players ever made. The Densen house sound has always been compared to Naim (many who have compared it with the Naim CDX2 have preferred the Densen), having a propulsive, toe-tapping sound that gets you nodding (or head-banging if you're me) and tapping along to the rhythm. This CD player in particular was the last to use Densen's proprietary Plus Bit technology that doubled the resolution available from CDs.
Made in Denmark, the build quality of this unit is sublime inside and out with power supplies that shame power amplifiers.
As a bonus, I'm throwing in the magical GIZMO remote that works with any Densen product. Like the Cd player, the remote is made of extruded aluminum (perfect to club intruders with) and is able to control other Densen devices from many different angles and distances.
Both products are under 4 years old and in excellent condition. Bought new the CD player retailed for $7500 and the remote $450.
My asking price of $1400 is simply unbeatable and the only reason I'm allowing myself to be robbed blind is that the valves on my pre-amp are dying and they need to be replaced.
