iPod cable for my LCD-2's

Hi guys, probably well covered before but I'm kinda new round here... I'm a mixing engineer, bought some LCD-2's on the recommendation of you good folks, and I'm loving them! Slightly odd request though - I'd like to have the ability to take em out every now and then and just jam on my iPod to them. Can anyone here recommend/make me a cable for that that DOESN'T break the bank? I don't need the best for my iPod, just decent. (Audeze recommended me ALO cables but there's no way I'm dropping 300+ dollars on a cable for my iPod!)

 

Or should I just be a complete dork and use an adaptor, despite the bulk it adds? I guess that's an option too...

The LCD-2 terminates in a 1/4" right? So wouldn't a simple 1/4-1/8 adapter do?
