Dammit. I really wanted those for running. I have been using my JVC S500's lately and they do the job quite well. Only problem is, because I have used them so much the clamping pressure eventually got really light, therefore it's hard to get them to stay on my head. Another problem is that I sweat a lot, and when the sweat touches the pads, they seem to slip from my ears easily. I may get the C300's just for casual listening. But until then, I'm searching for an IEM with a similar sound signature that can actually stay on my head. Any suggestions?

This is your MO and should be in your sig, lol

My favorite can has a 55mm carbon nanotube coated diaphragm  and ports the bass through 2 tubes into your ears.

My second favorite has a 57mm driver venting out the back.

I think i should probably put that in my sig so folks don't recommend anything not built around a subwoofer in a cup:L3000:

Sorry to discourage you. I thought the guides would offer stability and function. But they offer little support. C300s may be more of an in-home iem...Try the woo duo2 iems. They are very light, and have little-no micro phonics. Great price and are perfect IMHO for exercise.

Both of you, please EDIT YOUR POSTS and make them vanish from the thread!!!! Take your "fight" to PM if necessary...

Thanks.

Yeah, the worse thing about the C300s is definitely the fit. I even use them without those plastic tab adapters because I usually just use them when I'm in bed not doing much movement. There seem to be some Yammies which are kind of bass-boosted and people say it is comfortable. You might try those. But if you are going to use them while exercising, why not just get "beater" IEMs?!?

So I should have one fun weekend testing my MDR-X10 against the Momentums and the V-Moda M-100..both on their way home! Let's see which one comes out on top for my ears!

Guys, let's be civil here.

I think that should be a good test to define your bass tastes! ;-)

Let us know.

That should be interesting. On ear v.s. Over ear v.s. Shallow over ear...3 versions of bass meets ear. Please share thoughts. I have heard em all but not in a battle royal.

Yes Indeed that is what I was going for like 3 levels of bass to see where my ears stand. I will report back :)

I also have the S500's...very nice can. I've also heard of clamping force issues as well. I always feel like IEMS are a better fit when working out, however, to each their own...I would give the WD2 a shot, they may be a good fit for you. I personally am using IEMS with a guide-wire as it holds over the ear for extra stability. I also use a tip with a very tight seal to minimize any instability.

dido cost 800 bucks and sound beautiful and slam very hard. And also gulp and choke on a lot of amp. No shame there. They are on the list. But they distort. It takes a lot but they distort. Cannons....they are not. Cannons don't distort before your ears do.  40mm drivers seem to fail sooner than 50 or over..physics? I dunno. I'd love a pair of dido ps but I'm a 1 genre' listening caveman.Cannons will do.

BTW...your 16 Where you get the cashola? You slinging crack wink.gif
Post a pic of you holding the sigs and dido with a paper saying hawaiibadboy or it...never...happened biggrin.gif

EDIT:
I'm j/k.

Its my turn with the didos currently on gelocks 'dido tour'

They sure put out before MY ears did ._.

Then again, all depends on your listening volume i guess. I had like +20 db on that thing :O

Thanks. I'll look into them. I've also been eyeing the Vsonic Gr06, any idea if those can be labeled as basshead IEMs?
