I can only speak for the Pro 700 mk2, and they have obscene amounts of bass. I have a hard time imagining any more bass in a headphone. Obviously, this leads to problems with the vocals, which are slightly veiled. Also, these headphones were pretty uncomfortable with the stock pads, so you should switch out for M50 pads which fit like a glove.

Pro700mk2 most bass of the list.  PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE WS55!!  Sounds like poop.

I thought hard (maybe like 30 seconds) about where I wanted my 200th post to be, and I decided on this thread for a few reasons (okay, maybe just one.)

When I first started my audiophile journey, I was a midrangehead. Unfortunately, recently I've been feeling the influence of a certain dark force, pulling at the very fibres of my bei-

BLA BLA BLA I LOVE BASS NOW.

Back to my TG!334s, hope I can get a LCD2 soon ph34r.gif

just picked up Philips Fidelio X1 my god, you have to listen to these so smooth and when bass is not required but booming and rubling when the song calls for it really needs to be on the list!!!

Tyll at inner fidelity calls it a bass head open can. Though I haven't heard it myself but I think there is enough credible sources to put it on the list.

Well, I was sifting through my music archive, and I found some music that I somehow (regrettably) forgot about. Do you like Zelda? Do you like dubstep? Take a listen:

There are more, but these are the only ones that I like.

I have a sudden urge to play TP on Dolphin now...

edit: just found another song: This one has a more 8bit sound to it.

had 2 of my cousins who came to visit for spring break, they just were curious to look at my assortment of headphones that are currently working

Sony XB500, Grado Sr80i. my beloved Koss Portapros are snapped broken(will be planning on sending them in for repair)

and i have a Sony MDR-V6 coming in sometime this week.

they tried the Sony XB500 first, their reactions were amusing. they could not cope with the bass tickling assaulting their ears it was clearly a new experience for them both.
they're fun headphones yes, but i personally dont like listening with them for a prolonged amount of time, the bass is fatiguing to me, mainly because im not too much a Basshead; but i do appreciate it at times.

Only $99, and it has a separate 55mm driver just for bass and a 40mm driver. Bass is adjustable with an integrated amp inside the earcup that runs on a AA battery. The amp has automatic shut-off when music stops playing to save battery. Cable is removable.

Can wait for the first non-gimicky review...

Mmm.. looks interesting. I'll definitely have a listen just to hear what else Skullcandy can do when they take headphones a little more seriously. I was very impressed with the Aviator and the Mix Master Mike, but not so the Navigator, which sounded quite awful.

I'm pretty sure the 55mm subwoofer is just a vibrator wink.gif

Both have a lot of bass, but I'll give this one to the XB500. I haven't ever used my E6 with either before, but the tiny amp really does pack some punch with its EQ settings.

From what I've read, pro700mk2 with m50 pads have as much bass xb500 without being being too muddy. That said I prefer my pro700s with stock pads. It has more than enough bass anyways haha
