I asked them for M50 pads in response , lets see what happens. Thoroughly impressed by Audio Technica as of now.

You had better luck than me then, I sent some email asking about europe availability for the new WS99, no response for like 5 days or so.

I know this can is already on the list, but thought it was worth to mention this new edition:

Reloop RHP-20 "Knight"

Had this headphone with a few others on my watch list for a while until I decided to go for the M-100. Love the new look!

I feel for you man, I used to live in europe and the customer service there in general is pretty worse than in the USA.

And I'm freaking blown away by how amazing AT customer service is. After I sent them the second email asking for a pair of M50 pads within minutes I get this response

Sending the M50 pads.

Needless to say I'm over the moon. I haven't dealt with such amazing customer service in years...

Playing a DJ set tonight. Thinking about using the Sig DJ for what it was intended for... but damn, they're just too nice to toss around in the throws of a hot set. tongue.gif

In my experience the amp will help a bit, the O2 has a really nice and low output impedance. This will ensure a good damping factor of the larger driver in the lower frequencies.

Hey guys, i have a pair of dt770 pro 80's and there plenty bassy, but this bass hurricane that the xb500's produce has intrigued me, would it be worth it to pick a pair up? And do they dig deep into the sub bass or are they just mid bass?

so heres a thought, just throwing it out there to see if anyone else thinks its a good idea...

how about we compose a "basshead eq guide", explaining how to eq headphones for custom bass quantity, giving links for foobar plugins and such?

after all, equalization is a very simple tool that can go a long way and make a very big difference. perhaps if others saw how simple and easy it is, they could do it too, and get more out of their headphones, achieving maximum bass slam, tailored to their taste.

maybe add it to the op even?

would this be a good idea?

It seems like a good idea... especially for those that are too lazy to EQ... (TOTALLY not me.)

Guys:

Why we don't see any full size headphones with separate drivers for high/mid/lows? It will also need some type of crossover of course...

Is it due to cost?

There are, but they're just gimmicks from Razer and other gaming headsets... wink.gif

M-100 would work well as a working "knock around" alternative with a similar sound.
