I can't audition them because the music/guitar centers around me don''t have these for testing.

My brother in law loves heavy bass, and and my wife and I are trying  get him a headphone with the loudest bass.

We're trying to remove the beats brand from him.

I haven't heard the HDJ-1500, but I have the other 3. If you want heavy bass, quantity-wise, the Crossfade LP2 will satisfy your needs. It is however, a little muddy sounding. In fact, you will frequently notice the wall of bass effect.

However, if you want a punchy can with detailed beats and good bass extension, you might want to consider the PRO700MK2 instead. It's a good basshead can, especially when amped well.

Thanks, I was kinda leaning towards the crossfade, that way we can customize it with his name. Just wasn't sure about the amount of bass it had. Right now it it's more about bass and looks for him than sound quality.

Crossfade LP2 would be my recommendation. It looks nice and is eons more comfortable than the Pro700MK2. They both have very loud bass, but when I heard the Pro700MK2 I didnt really like them. They were too dark for my tastes.

A new IEM from a sub company, Velodyne has the vPulse.  I only say one review on the IEM but its a nice price at $89.00.  I wonder how it fairs against the Mg7?....

Hees a review I found

Ya I just had heard about them today.  I read another review on them that had joker's review on them.  I'm surprised that no one has mentioned them in the Bass club.  etysmile.gif  I just ordered them.

I think when people want a bassy IEM they are now getting the CKS77 which is similarly priced

I wouldn't mind a comparison between the CKS77, pulse, and the MG7.

DsNuts actually has all 3. He said that the cks77s were the best of the three but you should just pm him and ask.

If you're looking at in-ears with serious bass, don't forget about the B&W C5.
