Looks like the XBA-2, XBA-3 and the XBA-4 should be added to the IEM list as well

From the "FR graphs" and their advertising, its obvious that they will be basshead IEMs

Well, yeah that got my hopes pretty up too but i'm still skeptical about a 2 ba iem having enough bass, let alone being a basshead iem.Time will tell though and i'm more than ready to eat my words :)

I definitely hope so. Although I remember someone posting a picture of the XBA-4 in their ears and it looked HUGE.

The same old headband the headband looks disturbing though, reminds me of the PRO headbands, sure hope they had Sennheiser like comfort, at least Ultrasones sounds EPIC. popcorn.gif

Indeed, the idea of new portable Ultrasones is very awesome. Ultrasone IEMs would be nice as well.

I'm not too sure of how they'll get the displaced driver (S-Logic) thing with IEM's, but if they can do it, super cool.

Hopefully the portables are better than the Zino...apparently they have marvelous (gold plated?!) drivers, but seriously gimped the housing. A budget ED. 8 would get me to wait a few months instead of getting a Z1000.

Isn't Ultrasone suppose to release a new Ultrasone line up, the Signature Pro? Supposedly, they're like the ED8/9.

Anyways, can we name this club, the Dark Side or something? =) There really is always too much treble.

I think we can add DAPs in? Nothing has ever pleased my bass cravings more than my Cowon players. Mach3bass FTW

This could a full-blown guide for bassheads. I would also like to add some simple explanations on EQ adjusting and what specific effects are when tweaking.

Yes!

You could count me in the club.

My first couple of systems I heard at meets where really thin. I didn't say anything but smiled, knowing that each member is on a quest for his own sound due to music choice and prior exposure. I was not just interested in bass, but a level of authority needed for metal and rock.

With some small but wonderful changes I was able to get a nice balance of bass in my system. The only headphones I own which get me there are the D7000s which I am very happy to own.

well I sold my RE0s becuase I got bored of the base response, so I guess I'm part of this group!

The new line up, is called Signature, the Signature Pro is going to be the flagship. Which is said to be able to handle genres such as Rock, Classical and Jazz as well. Compared to the PRO900, the Signature Pro will also have an improved soundstage. There will also be Signature series on-ears coming out next year.

The Dark Side ? Suldoukai also mentioned there is always too much treble a few pages back, I think I'll change the title to something like, Club Basshead, the dark side of the frequencies or something like that. I'll add DAPs with bass boost EQ in the front page too. I'll do that about 30 minutes later because I'll be going somewhere in a few minutes

Thanks for the help beerchug.gif

lol, yea. Maybe, I know this is weird, but 'The low riders'

Or better, 'The low riders from the dark side'. Super bassy. If your a low rider within the dark side, thats really the limit of bass.

lol, just bein' immature...
