Nicely done!

Pro900's are awesome and can be found used.   Worth whatever.  Love mine.

Denon D600 is another great over ear basshead phone I own.  Love it as well.

These are just an amazing bass cans which I would recommend to anyone. The clarity, the bass extension and everything in between and for $580 aud or about 300 euros used. I would recommend everyday of the week. It's a no brainer. They're also quite easy to drive and sound great even off just an iphone

I just heard the midrange is a bit laid-back which isn't to my taste, in a Signature DJ vs Fostex TH-600 comparison, the Signature DJs were even said to be slightly more forward sounding and that headphone is also said to be a very slightly bit recessed in the midrange by general concensus which makes me worried how TH-600 is. Maybe it isn't a problem for you like it probably isn't for majority amount of people as people tend to like a minor V-shape pretty often but for those people who like a more intimate/in-your-face midrange it may be a prob though.

What I'm trying to say is that for most people it's enough that the mids sounds clear (which they do with emphasized highs) but I personally want up-front sounding mids (the feeling of the vocalist just standing next to me) which I wouldn't expect to get in TH-600.

Another thing that can be a problem is isolation, these doesn't isolate well from outside noise. Lack of isolation and midrange laid-backness is probably the most noteworthy aspects that may not be good things to everyone. Most other things it probably does handle well though. :)

I like good sounding headphones... The frequency response doesn't matter. As long as I like it, I'm good. I ordered a pair of akg k240's today. I'll see how much I like them. Probably a lot. I checked to make sure I was getting the best cans for my 70$.

Those are very different from your current cans. Nice move. Buying another bassy set for 100 woulda been a waste of money. Might as well experience another kind of can. Again...good move. Congrats and enjoy

As long as the frequency response isn't redonculously out of proportion, I'm ok with it... And if it has detail, even better! JVC ha-m55x's are about on the line between liking, and not liking the freq response. I like them a lot though, because of the price, the build, the comfort, bass impact, and good response to equalization.

I was looking at harx900's but I looked at the akg k240's, and they were similar in response to the m-100's. So slightly boosted bass in comparison to treble/mids, plus the build, comfort, and reviews made me lean towards them... Plus, I want to see what open/semi open cans are all about.

... Plus, I won't be able to buy another pair of cans for another year... Stupid holidays being so far away! May as well have some variety in my setup if I have to make do for that long! I think next year, I will buy sz1000's. I already love my 55's, so the sz1000's should be a real bassperience! XD well, I probably should get an e12 sometime too... Is the sz1000 300$? If it is, then I should be able to sneak in the e12 along with it!
