I need a tough metal case for CD storage and transportation - any advice on what brands are best?

I need a quality case for CD storage and transportation, preferably without any plastic elements as these get damaged very easily. I also don't want the kind where you put the CDs in plastic sleeves, I want to keep my CDs in their jewel cases.

Any advice? I once saw a DJ with one of these things. I move a lot so I need one of those things. Weight is not a concern, it just needs to be tough.

PS: As I am located in France it needs to be a brand that is available in Europe. Thanks!

They don't seem to make cases for CDs? I can see laptops, guns but no CDs! :)

You just get a case that looks like the size you need. They come with a block of segmented foam filling the case, you then pull out segments of foam to match whatever shaped items you are carrying in the case. Like this:

In your case (no pun intended), you'd simply need to pull out segments until you had rows roughly the size of your CD rows. Easy peasy. Just make sure you get a pretty big case if you have a lot of CDs ...
