Valentine's day coming up, got any ideas to share?

 

Not going to share my plan, but the gift's going to be a pair of FA-011 beyersmile.png and I'm getting myself a pair of dt1350, everyone knows I have two gf, one real one and one only with voices (+two cups)

I got my girlfriend into audiophilism... she used to be fine with a cheap 10$ pair of headphones from walmart but now she wants to buy a pair of hd25s... I'm getting myself a pair of edition 8s soon... I'm wondering if I should show them to her...

And organize a headphone meet for couples, that would be fun xD

At some point I'm going to get my wife some open cans... was thinking HD598 because they have what I consider to be Sennheiser's mid-fi sound, and plus of course they have a certain look and feel to them.

 

But basically after I got her headphones last year, she feels like she only needs jewelry now.  Lucky me, huh?

my girlfriend tolerates what i do...but doesnt encourage it. she likes good sound but doesn't need it like i do. i believe one of our conversations went like this:

 

her: i cant make out what this guy is saying

me: try this (plugs in sr-80's)

her: oooo...much better.

... five mins later...

me: can i get those back..............babe............................you know the people next door can hear you singing...........................sigh

 

i asked if she wanted to keep them but she says "i dont need them, i have my ipod earbuds"

Very similar to my situation... my gf will never spend over 200$ on a pair of headphones even if compared to 1000$ headphones. She doesn't feel the need to plunge for the slightly better quality. I on the other hand always feel something tugging at me.

Well my Gf doesn't like when i spend a lot on headphones and gear. I plan to give her a set of headphones + mp3 player on this month..we'll see how it goes.

1. How'd you know I got myself a pair of dt1350s?!

2. My lady knows what an amp is ;) She's got the E10 and the headfi bug caused her to consider buying a ZO haha.

 

 

The most audiophile part of my gf is that she loves wood! But I'm now not sure if its a good thing or not - FX700, ATH W series... FA-011 is the only cheaper one I can find really

well my ex liked me sennheiser HD238, then i got my AKG K518 DJ, she enjoyed those aswell, so i got her a pair. Then i received my Dunu Tridents to review, and she preferred those to the AKG's, so she now has kept the Dunu's and i have the AKG's back (need to sell them, i dont need 2 pairs). She said she cant listen to music through crappy headphones anymore, good. I also got her to get a cheap 5.1 surround for her PC, and she loves it.

We have broken up, but its all good and i'm glad she's happy with her Dunu's.

I joked with my gf today about how if we break up, I'm gna be the first to give quotes on her headphones. Got treated pretty badly for the whole afternoon then, but I love both!
