I have been reading these audio forms for a while. I am getting some beyerdynamic dt990s, but everyone says i need to watch out with lossy files. I have a lot of lossless stuff, but at least a third of what i listen to is lossy. Is this going to be a problem?

Overall excellent buds, very good sound quality, especially for their price, the medium set of tips fits exactly in my ears and provides a near perfect seal. Bass is very detailed, but not...

Not if it doesn't bother you. I have some lossy stuff that sounds pretty good and some lossless stuff that doesn't. I'd make sure that pretty much everything you get from now on is lossless and think about tossing out any files that don't cut it with your new headphones. Enjoy the Beyers; I really like my DT880s.
