Anyone know a fix for this?

So i was about to recable my shure 530s but using a bad soldering iron didnt help. it might've also been the solder itself. In the end the contact point came off of the "flexible flat wire thingy." Anyone know any sort of fix or a way around this? Thank you very much in advance!

Your soldering iron is too hot.

Anyway, you can carefully scrape off

some of the coating over the trace

and solder to that.
