Recabeling an Koss UR-55

Hi,

One side of my headphone stopped working so I opened them and the problem wasn't a bad solder connection, it's the cable...

Look at the red square:

It looks like the cable is broken on the picture, but that's not the problem. It's because I pulled it and now it's working again. blink.gif The problem is inside the little plastic piece.

--- Anyway, can someone tell me where to get a good cable including the Y split? (I prefer an online shop in the EU).

Here is a picture of the opened headphones for anyone that's interested:

Thanks!

Whoa! L3000.gif I removed both the cloth that's between your ear and the headphone and some cloth underneath the grill...

they really sound better now!!

I'm not going to mod the grill itself, but I'm thinking of drilling some holes in the plastic that's between the back of the driver and the grill.

I like them better than my unmodded Superlux now!

Please recommend me some good/cheap wiring for them so I can start using them again as my main headphones again!

Pictures coming soon!
