6x9s on a TV?

Has anyone used 6x9s as TV speakers before and would it be easy? Need amping?

They would need a amp that can drive there load (ohm) , car speakers can be very low impendance sometimes so make sure you get a suitable amp, also you might need to build enclosures for the 6x9's as they normally don't come with any.
