Earbud Cable Clip

Thread Starter

Recently I started using a clip that came with one of my cheap headphones to reduce microphonics coming from my Klipsch Image S4 while walking.

It made a world of difference. The little clip almost completely reduced microphonics when clipped to my clothes!

No interference at all. But sadly the clip fell off the cable and I can't find it anymore :(

I'm hard pressed to find a new one.

Any suggestions or other solutions?

Hang the cable overear. It's what I do.

Clothpin, custom paper clip, ziptie

I just tuck the cable into my shirt. I find that reduces almost all microphonics.

I use a metal clip from a bag of coffee on my shirt when I run to deal with microphonic cables.

Hanging over the ear has helped somewhat. It's relatively quick and easy.

How would I use any of the other items you mentioned? Clothpin would be too big I think...

I have tried this, and It works but not as well as hanging over ears. And having to thread the cable through my shirt isn't something I can do on the go too much.

Again, isn't a coffee clip too big?

I'm looking for something similar to this:
