I've owned UE Triple Fi 10s for a couple years now and really enjoyed them. I bought a few sets of Comply foam eartips, which work okay. They generally fit well enough, but as they wear they loosen, which weakens the sound. This happens more frequently when I'm doing something active. Like walking.
Looking at the long list of Comply-compatible earphones listed on their site, I wondered if anyone was making custom molded eartips that matched Comply's sizing. If so, you'd be able to add a molded tip without reshelling the earphones (and making them unresellable). I searched through Head-Fi and didn't find any threads along these lines. Google turned up a page at Fischer Amps that looks like a perfect match, but I can't find anything else on their site about pricing or general reports from people who've gone down this path.
Has anyone had success along these lines? Are there companies who offer custom molds or who might be interested in building them to spec?
