Fischer Audio Eterna's vs Hippo VB?

Looking for an IEM that has a similar sound signature to the IE8 but for a better price.

I want punchy deep bass, strong emphasis on the midrange like percussion and vocals, and a smooth yet detailed high end with no fatiguing sibilance to be known of. Absolutely no harshness at all please!

Narrowed these down for the sub $100 price range but I'm willing to stretch to anything up tp $200 if it is absolutely worth it.

I want something that is dynamic and doesn't wrap around the ear or stick out a bunch like the IE8's, Sony ex600's etc...

sort of low profile looking but great sounding for death metal/symphonic metal/hard trance, etc

any suggestions?

man we've talked about this so much, just search for it. you'll have more than the information you need.

and I'm pretty sure the Eterna is designed to be used over the ear

Is there anything wrong with more opinions? Virtually everything on this forum has technically been "over-talked" about, however things only seem to get more complicated with conflicting opinions.

I'm just doing what everyone else is doing on Head-Fi, gathering more opinions from more people.

I've read plenty of the threads you speak of and i still want more opinions, thanks
