Linux has the best user end security hands down though. No malware can run on the average machine since only the 'root' (different from admin) user can access system files. I find Linux is the easiest OS to mod though. The command line has virtually the ability to do everything provided you know how. Enter the root account and you can tweak just about every aspect.
