Re-cable Fischer Audio Eterna

Hello

Somehow I manged to break my FA Eterna's but before throwing them away I'd like to re-cable them if it's possible. Anyways I have a bad feeling about this because the casing looks like it is one complete mold and impossible to open but if someone has done it or tried it, then please give me some info and suggestions on what cables to use.

I've got the same problem. some how the internal cable in my right side has snapped. I've got all the parts to re cable the phones. But I'm not sure how to pull them apart without breaking them. Look like it glue together pretty tight.

Managed to open mine up and re-cable them. Actually not that hard to dismantle. Look for the "crack" running through the middle of the driver housing and use a sharp knife to break the seal. Both parts are connected only with glue.

Anyways I'd like to know what cable and plugs did you buy ? So far I only made a quick fix and used an old Sony headphone cable.

I went all posh and got 0.4mm x 4 braided silver cable with a right angle Switchcraft 1/8 connecter to terminate the ends. Cable and plugs cost almost the same as the head phone LOL! (BTW cable I got from connex audio)
