AMP for DT990 PRO (250 Ohm) ?

They are rated at 250Ohm. I dont think that soundcard will drive them properly. If you can save a bit more and buy the Xonar essence stx it would be nice. 

If you are going to be using  it for the Computer, you should get a dac/amp Combo instead of a soundcard like the NFB-12.

I'm running it with my Sennheiser HD 650 which are 300ohms and they run beautifully.

You could get the Essence STX card instead of the DG if you're willing to spend that much. It will definitely power them, and has a top-notch DAC too.

I should add it's PCI-e, but there's the ST if you only have a PCI slot.

So essence stx is better than the e7/e9 combo? I'm simply looking for the most bass out of my dt990 pros. thanks!

A Bellari 540 has fantastic chemistry with the 990's, calms the highs and brings out the mids. I was not a fan of the 990's off my M-stage, then I tried them on the Bellari and have not taken them off since.

thats friggin 300 bucks! haha most id spend is 200 and that would be including a dac also
