i need headphones that have alot off bass more then beats and i know they suck carp but i need sound quality too

my choices are
Shure 750DJS
ATH-M50
Sony xb 700
any other recommendations

i listen too alot of dubstep
but i like the highs and the mids work with the bass
i like vibrations also but that is not really impotent

i have heard alot of good thing about the shures i like them mostly but i am open to suggestions
i don't care if they are open or not i will mostly be using them with my creative xfi card but i would prefer them no not need an amp

Classic.

My suggestion would be Denon's, any Denon's but they are not just Boom boxes and may lack what you're after.

Of the others, I would discount the M50's. Imho an over rated phone which I found dissappointing but then we're all different.

regards

If you want both sub and midbass then XB500 will deliver and with a little tweaking on the 10-band EQ of your soundcard it would sound really great for the price. There's also Panasonic RP-HTF600 which is silly cheap but is very good for the money, similar kind of bass as XB500, just a bit weaker (still a VERY serious basshead headphone) and without EQing might even appeal more to most people. I got both but just got the Panasonics but can't quite decide which of them I like more yet. XB500 is the easiest driven headphone I've encountered by far, Panasonics are also easy driven, not quite as XB500 but will work fine ampless. I think the XB500's bass is like made for dubstep, the closest corresponding to subwoofer bass I've encountered so far cuz it delivers more impact than any other headphone.

XB700 mostly got subbass, not much midbass at all so there's less impact. M50's bass is a little on the weaker side. Shure 750DJs's biggest concern is the comfort/build quality, sound wise it's fairly good.

I would recommend Sennheiser HD600 on the high end and Audio Technica ATH-AD700 for something more affordable.  Check out this post called Good Headphones. You will find good information on plenty of headphones with nice bass and excellent sound quality.  The aforementioned Sennheiser and Audio Technica headphones are showcased on the Good Headphones
link.

Really?
both are open back and bass weaK.

Own the hfi-580 and listened to the xb500 I would say the xb definately produce a lot more bass (quantity wise)... Given the op just wants more bass than the beats with some sq I would say get the xb500 and save yourself some cash ( the 700 have less bass overall). Though the hfi-580 is a much better can overall imo.
