Best setup for my sound card

Still new the whole thing and I'm looking for advice on the best setup for my sound card. Currently, I'm using this one and the HD555s. I have EAX off as well as the crystalizer. I'm just wondering if there's anything else I should do to get the best experience.

Simply put, turn everything off.

Does it give you a Creative Control Panel that can change "modes"? The internal cards do, I don't know about the externals. If so, set it to Audio Creation mode, set sampling rate to 44.1kHz, and enable Bit-Perfect or whatever it's called.

Nope. I've been looking around but the Audio Creation mode doesn't seem to be supported by this one.
