Though having M902 with D7000s which may be a pair can play most kinds of music well, I still prefer my old HD540 Reference(Earliest Edition) when listening to vocal music.
It sounds more emotional and 'sweet' though it;s not as 'hifi' as M902+D7000.
So I'm here looking for a tube amp for HD540(600o),as M902 is a bit bright and lack sound density with HD540.
My budget is under $400(secondhand) and how about Schitt Lyr?
I came from China 1 months ago and not so familiar with the headphone amps in USA.Hope someone can offer some advices.
