hi

hope that I posted this in the right place

anyway

put in some nos 6N23P-EB in my X-can V8P

for those who wonder: to me the new ones sounds unbelievably good, and they haven't even had time to burn in properly as I write this

though obviously it is hard to tell for sure.. (placebo and all that)

so anyway

what can I say, just a bit curious about what kind of tubes there was originally in the X-can

is there anyone that can tell me something about them?

I couldn't work out any date from the numbers.. are they just 'new'

wish everyone a great time listening to their music

and also a big thanks for all the advice and knowledge

Oh yours came with nice tube to begin with. Those are some older JAN (Joint Army Navy) and are military spec with very low noise and distortion. They are quite nice and Jack from Woo Audio supplies them.

I use NOS Bugle Boy 6DJ8's which sound very nice!
