Interesting :D Will look forward to giving these a try, though I've kind of given up on AT headphones apart from the esw9s
No update for the AD series? Maybe i should get a AD500 or AD700 soon!
Keeping my fingers crossed on that. Been using the AD2000s exclusively as my home headphones for close to 5 months now and have had no urge to upgrade whatsoever. If the AD2000x does get launched for example, i might have to give it a go since the itch would be unbearable, being such a self-professed fan of the AD2000.

So far the prices have not dropped on the current A700/A900s,
Hopefully the current A900s will drop in price for a close out sale.
How come the title of this thread say OPEN HEADPHONES???

...in case you can't see it ==
Btw while I'm looking forward to ATH to revise the AD-lineup, I'm also hoping that they'll never do so at the same time orz
I wonder what the change to a traditional headband from the "wing" design will do for perceived weight, tightness, etc. ATs get a lot of criticism for feeling loose on the head....My A900 fit me OK, but I remember I had to keep my head pretty still or they'd flop around.
i... son of a... FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
i just ordered a pair of a900s sunday night to replace my m50s (great first headphone, but not great when using it for more than an hour). should i wait for reviews and comparisons and refuse the package when it arrives?
Not every update has always been a good one, Denon D1001->D1100 comes to mind.
Waiting for something better than W1000X... ;D
I'm guessing the shipping and handling is not refundable and there
might be a restocking fee for refusing the A900s.
