Polk Audio Ultrafit 3000

Hi Guys,

 

I was planning on getting a new pair of earphones for the gym. This one really caught my eye. Anyone have impressions on this? I can't seem to find any hand-on reviews of it yet. Was thinking of pairing this up with a Sansa Clip Zip.

If that just a molded earpiece without memory wire, there's no way it's an optimum fit for everybody. Kind of like these JVCs.26181.JPG

Not as detailed as I would have liked though. Most curious about how the 'planar cables' handles noise transfers while running, etc.

i have them.

base is too light (feels like it starts from 120 hz)

 

imaging is not pronounced. 

Highs are not 'rolling'

 

overall sound barely 3 out 5 if I am to rate in overall range. And 3.5 for voice range.

cannot recall if the separate head phone amp made big difference ... 

 

Fit is 4, wire is pretty nice -- 4.5
