Site very sluggish on laptop.

Hey ya'll! It might be just for me, but the site is very sluggish on my laptop. I'm using Google Chrome in Windows 7 Home Premium, quadcore AMD A8-3500m APU + Radeon HD6620G with 512mbs of V-RAM and 4gbs of RAM, if it helps. I enjoy browsing the site, learning about audio, but I can only really keep 1 page open, if I try to load 2 at a time, it locks up my browser and leaves it unresponsive from anywhere between 5-30 seconds. I tried it on an old Macbook as well, and it was the same. If I have more then 3 open, it really slows down my computer.  This has been going on months. Hope you guys an help.

works good for me can have like 10 pages open at once, use ccleaner for windows or onyx for mac. They will speed you up some and free

Is it slow with other browsers?

Actually, it's very fast on IE. Maybe it is only me. I do use CCleaner regurarly though.
