Music Forums, where do you hang out?

The music discussion here on Head-Fi is a bit thin so I occasionally visit the  Steve Hoffman Forum, http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/ . What music sites do you visit?

^ OK but I'm looking for recorded music forums not musician forums, unless they have a lively recorded music discussion.

oh sorry I thought that the title was "musicians forums".

When I cared more about punk and hardcore, way more than I do now, I used to be a regular on the b9board.

I find myself going there often now. Lately I've been buying CDs/SACDs.

I've been buying more SACDs since I purchased my Yahama CD S-2000. I go to Amazon and search music>sacd.

Same here, I've been buying more since I got my Oppo 95. My collection is steadily growing. I'm also looking for CDs - Sheffield Labs , Reference Recordings, East-Wind Jazz. Some of these are expensive, even used on ebay. I found a Sheffield Lab Drum & Track XRCD 24bit on ebay for $24.50. These are OOP.

Here's another forum I've looked at from time-to-time. http://www.musicbanter.com/

I find it slightly disappointing that the actual music discussion in a lot of audio forums is quite thin.

One would think that audio enthusiasts' end goal is to find the ideal gear to enjoy their music, which would mean that music is still a higher priority over audio, which would lead to an expectation that there should be a lively music discussion on most audio forums.

Unfortunately, actual music discussion on most audio forums is quite thin, indeed.

Cheers will check this site out properly later on.  I had a quick look and it looked like it covered a vast amount of music.

RYM is great, but if you go there without a pretty good idea of what you like in the first place, you get sucked into thinking all the albums above 4 are untouchable.  It is a great resource, and I use it for searching within genres as to other artists I may like but have missed out on.  SteveHoffman is nice, it seems like most of the users with a good all around knowledge of music have migrated from here to there over the last couple of years.

RYM sounds like a place I'd enjoy, I'll check it out. You're right about Head-Fiers on SH, I bump into more now than I did a year ago.

I used to be an active member at musicbanter. A nice forum.

There's also a music section at overclock, but more oriented to rock, metal, hip-hop
