Firstly , I want to apologize about the poor picture quality and the background . So lets cut to the chase.
This is a wireless speaker , it uses the bluetooth 2.1 + EDR tecnology to stream music wirelessly . Its has an AUX input for devices without bluetooth . This speaker pairs very easily with my iPhone , not much of a fuss , so I'm not going to explain how to pair them together .
Looks ...
The design isn't really outstanding , but it is pratical . It has a curved back that saves some space and it is availible in a bunch of different colour . Black , Green , Blue and Pink . I personally prefer the black ones , it has that classy look . The back is matte , so don't worry about fingerprints .
Portability ...
It is quite portable , at 32.5 x 10 x 10 cm , you can move it around the house easily . The D80 does not house a battery , so it can't be use for a outdoor BBQ . It is quite light too , at 1.06kg , even a toddler could carry it . It does have a handle at the back of the speaker .
Build Quality ...
No match for its more expensive sibling , the Creative ZiiSound D5x . But definetely acceptable . Not going to elabourate any further .
Sound ...
If a speaker doesn't sound good , theres no point of keeping it , except as a spare . This certaintly doesn't sound top notch , but acceptable for its price .
It consists of two 3'' inch mid range drivers . It lacks a bass port , so low frequencies are it's weak point . Feel it by Three 6 Mafia sound exceptionally bad , the bass sounded really hollow and thin . Despite this , it does produces a decent amount of bass for the other songs , like Don't Ditch by Tiesto . At times , the mids are overly emphasized . Sail by Awonlnation felt like the only frequency present in the song is the mid range . The treble is also slightly recessed . It doesn't sound very detailed either , as the Bluetooth bandwidth isn't big enough to support high bitrate music . Using the AUX input improved the sound quality by a little . Despite all these shortcomings , it's still sounded decent on other songs . Play around with the EQ settings , that should help .
Price ...
At SGD 49 , its a bang for the buck . Although it does not have an iPod dock , it's wireless capabilities meant that it should not be docked at all time .
Final Verdict ...
The sound isn't great , but loud enough to fill a medium sized room . The price is the main selling point of the product . I give it a 3.5/5 . Good job creative !

Felt they could have included RCA in/out for a wired option to work with everything else.
